Advanced button for Tasks/Requirements section

Introduction

This document provides you the information about the Advanced button in the Tasks/Requirements section of the overview of resource planning and tasks.

Menu path

Go to Projects ➔ Planning ➔ Resource planning, or Manufacturing ➔ Planning ➔ Resource planning, and then click Advanced.

Fields

Filter section

Warehouse, Job groups, Resource, Assortment, Activity, Project

Click Select to select one or more projects, job groups, resources, assortments, activities, or projects to display the tasks linked to the selection(s) in the overview.

- This indicates that none of the project, job group, resource, assortment, activity, or project has been selected.
- This indicates that at least one project, job group, resource, assortment, activity, or project has been selected.

Show: Planned

Select this check box to show the planning for the expanded the tasks.

Based on scenario

Select this check box to display the tasks based on MRP scenarios. Once selected, Scenario: MRP and the Details button at the overview of resource planning and tasks will be enabled. For more information, see Overview of resource planning and tasks. On the other hand, the Sales orders and Production orders check boxes will be disabled,

Scenario: MRP

Type or select an MRP scenario to display the tasks linked to the selected MRP scenario. This is mandatory. Once selected, the Details button at the overview of resource planning and tasks will be enabled. For more information, see Overview of resource planning and tasks.

Note: This field is enabled only when you select the Based on scenario check box.

Sales orders

Select the check box under the Not authorized or Authorized column to display the sales orders with the corresponding status. Click Select to select one or more selection codes for the sales orders. The selection codes are booked by sales orders with the corresponding status and linked to the labor hour requirements.

Note: This check box is enabled only when you clear the Based on scenario check box.

Production orders

Select the check box under the Not authorized or Authorized column to display the production orders with the corresponding status. Click Select to select one or more selection codes for the production orders. The selection codes are booked by production orders with the corresponding status and linked to the labor hour requirements.
